Behind the Campaign: Making Geysers Engaging with Kwikot

When Dialogue called, they had a challenge that made us pause.“Can you make geysers... TikTok-able?”

We’ve tackled some unusual briefs before, and this one was right up there. Kwikot wanted to reach a broader, digital audience. The ask? A series of short, scroll-stopping TikTok videos that would make people actually want to watch something about geysers. So, after a few brainstorming sessions, and some questionable plumbing puns, we found our angle:
A nine-part mini-series mixing DIY hacks, plumbing wisdom, and sharp, situational comedy. Each episode had to educate and entertain. We therefore had to strike that fine balance between useful and ridiculous.
But great scripts only work when the cast brings them to life. Enter Jane and Sanda. Their timing and chemistry was instant. They turned lines about thermostats and pipe insulation into laugh-out-loud moments, giving each scene the kind of warmth (pun intended) money can’t buy
The result? A campaign that made people rethink what branded content could be. Proving that even geysers can have personality, humour, and still be ultra reliable.
